I have a calculated field in a query that works perfectly. I'm trying to figure out how I can stop the field from calculating based on information in another field, for instance the other field could say dont Calculate I thought it should go in the criteria field but Im getting weird results.

This is what I did, I get syntax error, not sure why everything seems ok, well to me anyway...LOL ...... expires: IIf([typeofelection]="primary/comm",0), IIF( DateAdd ("yyyy", [termyears], [termstarts]))

I know what id did wrong....that second IIF and the ")" ....now this works much better expires: IIf([typeofelection]="primary/comm","",(DateAdd("yyyy",[termyears],[termstarts]))) thanks for your help
