Good morning.
I have the following scenario:
1)Inmate Table: containing inmate # and Housing Block information imported from mainframe once a day
2)Block Table: containing Block information.
3) Inmate count Query: containing count of inmates in each block (Sum of inmates by block of the above Inmate Table)
During the day, Inmates are moved from one housing block to another and my query becomes out of date.
The kitchen receives a call from housing management updating the total # of inmates in each block so the correct amount of food is sent.
I need to store the new count of Inmates so the kitchen can manually update it. so I added a field to the Block table (AP-Count).
I am unable to update the AP-Count in an update query. I get the following error:
Operation must use updatable query
What am I doing wrong?
