Program to alter default value

I have multiple fields in a Table. I would like to write some VBA code to set the default values. Can you explain how to do this. Thanks in advance, your almost 80 years old progammer to be.

Is there a reason you aren't either setting it directly in the Table?
You could also set it in the Form.
Which event are you wanting to set it via VBA? On Open?
