Use the name of the textbox

I have built a Db with 42 text controls that all have conditional formatting based on their position. Each one is named with a sequential number. CUrrenty I set the conditional formatting with VBA and it is very slow to load. Is it possible to use the name of the text control in the formula?

If so, how?

You could programmatically change the conditional formatting in VBA, but that might be just as slow. I cover how to do this in Access Developer 40.

Yeah, I have it working in VBA and it is really slow! I am planning on conditionally formatting 42 controls once I am happy with the colors. If I could use the name, I would be able to grab the whole group and format them in one go.
