How do you set a file so I can access it on my google drive? I am the administrator but I need to change access to this file so my access file with compact and repair. When I try it I get an error message (see attached image). I have tried to google this problem with no results.

Kevin I am not using this drive to share. I am the only one using this database. I am just using it for storage. But I cannot compact and repair with this drive. See Image.

Hi Richard,

The point is, you shouldn't be doing anything with a database in a cloud drive - ESPECIALLY C&R. Far too easy for it to corrupt.

Have the file on a local or network storage and then use Backup Access template to have access create a copy on your google drive if you want.

Don't ever work out of a cloud location, even if its just your own copy. You get problems like this. Evil Access Stuff
