Order Fulfillment

Has a lesson or techhelp been done on using access for order fulfillment. In order to have a proper polling location so many tables are need, so many ballot marking devices, ballot scanners, forms, signs and several other things. I want to use access to confirm via barcode scanning that the proper number of each item needed has been pulled from inventory. is there and example of this type of system?

No I've been through that twice. It is helpful in part but I have a main form which calls a continuous subform of piece parts which are needed to fulfill the order. I have a unbound bar code box which executes VBA whenever a bar code is scanned. I want a text box on the formot to turn green next to the piece part with a matching ProductID indicating fulfillment. If there is no match I want a text box next to the unbound text box into which the scanned bar code was read to turn red indicating that item is no longer needed to fulfill the order so a useless or unneeded piece part isn't thrown in to the order. What is the VBA to check to see if there is a productID on the continuous form that has not yet been picked?

OK lets try this use the if function and change the background but 1st watch this video
Conditional Formatting

If this is true
Me!txtPastDue.BackColor =vbgreen
else
Me!txtPastDue.BackColor = vbred
end if

not sure if this is what you want but if the match is correct the field will turn green if not then red.
let me know if I got closer to what you are trying to do.
