I have a paper & pencil design of a Star Trek episode database. The main form will be based on Episode; I plan to re-watch all the Star Trek series and movies and enter in data as I watch. Yes, I am crazy.

My Episode table & form have the fields you'd expect: Series, Airdate, Season, etc. But currently the form has six subforms for things like Characters, Stardates, Ships, Places... Is this the best design? I want to see everything on one form while I am watching/recording, so on a repeat mention of U.S.S. Intrepid I can see I've already entered it for that Episode.
