I have a query with a calculated field which is used in a report:
BesparelseBatteri: Format([ForbrugFraBatteri]*[GennemsnitsprisKbtEl];"Fixed")
In the report i want to sum up the field in report footer but that is not possible.
When i look at the format of the field in the report, the format field is blank (see attached picture).
When i try to make report sum the field i can only select "count values" or "count posts" - it is not possible to choose !Average" or "Sum" etc.

The Format() function returns text, so that's why Sum() and Count() don't work. Make your calculated field numeric, then everything should work: BesparelseBatteri: [ForbrugFraBatteri]*[GennemsnitsprisKbtEl] To apply formats on the calculated field, do it on its property sheet.
