Your video have been a great help over the past couple of years but this is one problem I have not seen covered.

The DB I am disigning for our terminal is for assets; my thoughts was to group all of the asset into one T_Assets  table with a yes/no field for "Is Assembly" because some of our assets are part of another asset.

I am going to have a T_Category table to help divide the assets into divisions (electrical, containment, building, tank...)and a T_Sub_Category to narrow down the assets (into like items of BREAKER BOX, EMERGENCY LIGHTING, DIKE CONTAINMENT, CONFINEMENT CONTAINMENT, TRAINING BUILDING, MOB OFFICE BUILDING, SLOP TANK, PRODUCT TANK, ADDITIVE TANK)

I've read numerous items about how to make a relationship on the tables but most is not making much since to me.

Do you have a video on something like this.
