I am unable to delete records after connecting my database to the sql server. The error is: The microsoft access database engine stopped the process because you and another user are attempting to change the same data at the same time. But im the only one editing the data. Can't find any solution. Please help

I don't really have a good explanation for you, maybe Richard would, or he's covered it somewhere that I can't find. But it looks like the error when you don't set a default value on a bit field and then add a record and the table gets locked. I don't remember if there's an easy way to fix it or not, as it's been my #1 priority after exporting to sql server to check those, so I haven't run into it in a while. If you JUST exported to sql, i'd say just delete the sql table, re-upload it, set the default value, and then try it again.

Did you remember to set up identities on SQL Server for your AutoNumber fields? This is something covered in my Access SQL Seminar.

Yes i later did, it was BIT datatype in sql server that was causing this error. Thank you for the help.
