I am creating job sheets by concatenating Date() and BoatID plus a number eg. 14/09/2023 Aloha 1. The first Job works fine. I use a query to calculate the next job no ie 2 but cannot get it to create the next job no for that boat, eg 14/09/2023 Aloha 2 or 15/09/2023 Aloha 2. I can create it successfully via an expression in a query but not in the form.
Query Expression:NewJobNo:[DateCreated] & Space (1) & [NameOfBoat] & Space (1) & NextJob.
