I saw in one of the videos where you used an if null statement to use the customer name if company name was blank in a query. I am having trouble finding that lesson. Please advise where I can find the lesson.

IIF Function
The video he linked in extended cut should show you what you need to do. This video might help also.
You just need to write an IIF statement to check if company name is null, use customer name if it is, or company name of it's not.
