Wrote the code below.  It is attached to a Button "Add Record"  Pressing button does nothing.  See below

Any suggestions appreciated.  Thank you.
Nathan

DoCmdPrivate Sub ContactBtn_click
.OpenForm "PassF",,, "PassID=" & PassID
DoCmd.gotoRecord acDataForm, "PassF", acNewRec
End Sub

It looks like you clicked in the wrong spot.

Change:
DoCmdPrivate Sub ContactBtn_click
.OpenForm "PassF",,, "PassID=" & PassID

To:
Private Sub ContactBtn_click
DoCmd.OpenForm "PassF",,, "PassID=" & PassID

Thank you Scott.  I am going to once again Transfer Money to Paypal.  I will get to the bottom of why they returned it to day.Your assistance is worth its weight in gold.
Set the code up with an event.  Something I did not do prior.  You pointed me in the right direction.

Scott I have not seen it done like this before.  is it tha same as docmd.OpenForm "PassF",,,"PassID=" PassID,acFormAdd

As normal I look it up and find a table with names, values and description which tell me nothing.   Richard, maybe this be a good video...

Juan,

This code will open the entire Recordset and move to a new record meaning you can view existing records.
DoCmd.OpenForm "PassF",,, "PassID=" & PassID
DoCmd.GotoRecord acDataForm, "PassF", acNewRec

This code will go directly to a new record (Data Entry Mode) and you can't view existing records.
DoCmd.OpenForm "PassF",,, "PassID=" & PassID, acFormAdd
