Hi!
I am building a database for my contracting company. Each contract has a start date and an end date. How can I see who has an active contract on a per month basis up to date? Id like to keep track of how many active contracts we have each month, and also be able to see which ones they are so I know who to expect timesheets and invoices from.

Thanks Alex ' I am probably just missing something here and I'm not quite sure how to implement your answer. How do I get them listed out for each month that they are still in active contract, not just start and/or end?
Let's say I have three contractors, all of which have start dates in January, two of them end dates in March and one end date in April.
I'd like a list that shows count of active contractors by month:
Jan: 3 active
Feb: 3 active
Mar: 3 active
Apr: 1 active
Apologies if my question is badly worded!

Kathrine - Check out the Missing Months video. That will show you how to aggregate ( Aggregate Query ) your records plus it will show how to list out any month that doesn't have data.
