In the database you create a workorder which has a workorder table. When you create a workorder for 2 different clients it assigns the same number. Sample (created workorder on 20th on 21st created workorder and it assigned one of the numbers on the 20th. You only know it happens because you open workorder and it will show 1 of 2. The only way to correct it is to keep creating workorders until you get past the numbers it is duplicating. I thought maybe an error may have cause it but the database didn't do any kind of backup or anything.

It's physically impossible for the database to create to different work orders with the SAME WorkOrderID. Access wouldn't allow that. I would LOVE to see screen shots of your database doing that. It's a fundamental rule of Access (and most databases) that you can't have two of the same AutoNumber in the same table. If you see "1 of 2" on the bottom of the work order form, that means you have two DIFFERENT work orders for that client. Correct me if I'm wrong.
