Random Type Error

Hi,
I have form that contains a field: ProjectMaterialsAmount
The control source for this field is: =IIf([frmSubOrderMaterial]![SubMaterialAmount]>0,[frmSubOrderMaterial]![SubMaterialAmount],0)
An After Update event is curMaterialTotal = ProjectMaterialsAmount
If I navigate through the records in the table (Next Record) the first time this record is displayed everything is fine.
However, if I move from the record and then move back to it this field shows a #Type! Error.
This is driving me insane!!
Any suggestions would be gratefully received'..

Image 1 is first time accessing the record. Image 2 is after moving to next record and then previous record.

before you do anything back up your work. Look in you property sheet and see if its linked right? next will be is your table set up correct. you may not be adding the value to your table and then when it try to calculate you get the error.

Juan, Thanks for your response. The forms are linked correctly. The fields in question are calculated from other fields on the form, so no table fields required.

OK, I fixed this by referring to the fields on the subform correctly, with a full path from the parent, to its subform, then to the subform containing these fields.
