Append File Contains Hyperlink

Hey Team,
I am trying to add Hyperlink entries to an existing Table. I imported a file containing tracking links to create a new Table. The links work.  Subsequently, I tried to append some new records to this Table. Using the Append option on the File Import Wizard, the file imports fine but the newly imported Hyperlink - even though they appear in blue like the original Hyperlinks - don't work.  Thanks in advance for your assistance!

It's better to just treat the links as Strings and then have Access open them.

Follow Hyperlink

Hi Alex, Thanks for the speedy reply!  I'll try that.  Appreciate it!

Wow - this is awesome! I built that command like the video said, then using a transparent button over the tracking number but attached to the link, and making the actual link invisible, I made it so you can click right on the tracking number and go to the USPS tracking page...
Loving this!!

You can also set a textbox's "Display as hyperlink" property on the property sheet to "Always", and you'll get the finger pointer for the mouse.  It will look like a hyperlink, but it's a fake hyperlink that won't do anything if you click it.  You then have to code the Click event to make it actually do something.

Hi Kevin, yes - that's what is happening.  It looks like a hyperlink but nothing happens.  Alex's solution worked perfectly though.
Thanks!
