Hey There,
I am trying to create a button to open a hyperlink. Built one yesterday and it worked fine, but today when I right click the button and select "Build Event" it not going to the code editor, but instead, it's opening what looks like some kind of button instruction editor or something:  TrackingFileF : TrackingLinkBtn : On Click

It sounds like you might be opening the expression builder. Usually when you right click and select build event you get an option of Macro Builder, Expression Builder, and Code Builder. You can also set the default, like Richard does in this Quick Tip

Oh thats the Macro Builder. Did you build it in VBA yesterday? I would just delete the event from the button and re-do it.

Hi Adam, Thanks for the reply.  The button I built yesterday was in the VBA Editor.  I watched this tutorial https://599cd.com/blog/display-article.asp?ID=2475 and it worked perfectly.

I'm not getting any options of what to open upon clicking the Build Event - it's just going straight to that Expression Builder,

Today I was trying to create a new button in a different form.  I'll take a look at that Quick Tip in your first reply - hopefully, that will help.

Thanks!

Aha - Ok... The problem was in creating the button.  I was building a new button using the wizard all the way through.  I needed to just cancel the wizard.

Thanks for the quick tip!
Rick
