Hi, can I load a photo based on a cabinet width in a field, I have now gone to get it via browse the path in image map. The intention is if cabinet is wider than 600 mm, photo must be loaded with 2 doors, otherwise cabinet with 1 door.

with a function maybe if possible ?? So I don't have to adjust every record, someone has a good idea, this is about many photos in the whole.

Hi Ludwig,

This is doable if you are consistent with naming conventions and have the correct data stored in your tables. I know this is a general advice, but give more details if you want more help.

Of course I want more help, a short but powerful solution. You have to take that I have an average of 6 cabinets per photo, in total I have almost 10000 different cabinet modules which are now in Excel so 1600 photos and I want to put them in access :) with all the necessary data, but then only entered 1 time and not, as in Excel, many times the same. Help and good ideas are very welcome.

Ludwig,

Please provide:

1) What is the relationship between the Records and Photos? You mentioned cabinet width, what else?
2) How do you store your Photos and what is your naming convention for them?
3) Share the table layout for your cabinets.
4) Any other information that will affect the logic of selecting photos.

Sami, see attachment as an example, the intention is to later obtain a report and a PDF as a catalog for customers of which types of cabinet modules can be ordered. Depending on the box width field, the drawing must be adjusted as I have already discussed. Cabinets from cabinet width > 600 mm must then load a photo with double fronts. There is nothing more to it than that. The photos are saved on the server as JPG. Actually, I should be able to say when loading if the box width field is greater than 600, then leave that photo in.
