My problem is that..

I have a weekly calender to show who's off in a listbox, this information came from Query_Holiday, when I selected a date. For staff whose holiday have been Approved will show in the who's off listbox, and a Count Listbox function is applied. ie: Day shift : Total Space available 10, space taken 6, and Space Remains [  4  ].

However, now I would like to incorporate those who got their holiday Rejected to show in the listbox as well but Highlighted in Red. And, count listbox function to set only count "Approved" items not "Rejected" items.

Hope someone can advise how to do conditioning formating in a listbox and Count Listbox function to count only Approved items?

You can't apply conditional formatting to a list box in Access. The list box itself has ONE set of format properties available. The only thing you could do if you need this is to use a subform or a small modal popup window.

As far as counting the items goes, that's just a matter of math. Assuming your APPROVED field is a Boolean (true/false) then just add up the values. Since TRUE = -1, you'll get a count of how many approved items you have. Multiply by -1 to get the total.
