Issue with SetWarnings
Jerry Fowler

I have a database that I use to store info on your TechHelp videos. I have been manually entering the data. I re-watched Expert 24 about importing data off of an RSS Feed. ok, my issue is there are warnings about the import due to duplicates (photo 1) so I added the DoCmd.SetWarnings False as I have done for outer procedures., but I'm still getting the warning shown in photo 2. Any thoughts? Thanks

Is it still working, just the error is annoying?

If so, you could just put On Error Resume Next at the top of the code

Adam thanks, that's so simple. It worked great and I can take the set warnings code out.

Hi Jerry
I would certainly check to see what the error was. You may need to rethink what was NOT imported and modify the import routine.

John, I did check the error and the issue is I have it set not to import duplicates and when I import there are always a number of items that are already in the table. But a very good thought if I hadn't. Thanks

Yeah, there's a big difference between a warning and an error. You're actually getting an error, so turning off the warnings won't help, but proper error handling does.
