The above code is wrong. Here is the one that works elsewhere:
Private Sub ActressCombo_Click()
    DoCmd.OpenForm "ActressF", , , "ActressID=" & ActressID
End Sub

Im guessing your actressID is inside that combo box and not a seperate field? Youd have to do & ActressCombo instead

The OnClick event isn't firing when you click on the Combo Box. It will fire if you drop the box down and select a value.
Consider using an On Double Click event instead.

BTW, I have to agree with Adam. Use the name of the Combo Box. The Actress ID should be the first column of the Combo Box so there is no need for the ActressID field. You effectively have ActressID on the form twice.
