Hi Leonard.

Try some of the Troubleshooter steps to see if that fixes the issue. Start with rebooting your system.

I have tried everything in the troubleshooter execept reinstalling windows. All of my access programs are having the same problem and when i run the program on another computer, it works, so I think I will have to reinstall windows.

Sorry, but it does sound like you have to do that.

That's a weird one. I've never seen that myself. Do you have any add-ins or third-party utilities that you installed? (Access Options - Add-Ins). You might not need to reinstall Windows, but you might want to uninstall and reinstall Office if you can't figure it out.

Your rulers are turned off.
Go to the Arrange tab on the Ribbon, Size/Space, Rulers.

Show me a screenshot of your entire toolbox when it's expanded completely.

The line tool is between the Combo Box and the Toggle Button.

Kevin FTW again. Yeah, I remember reading something recently about how they changed it from a simple horizontal line to that messed up thing.

It looks more like a Line Chart symbol than the Line tool. LOL.
