I have been reviewing Access Beg 1,2 and 3, and plan on going thru the balance to level 9. Very satisfied with creating 3 tables, and related Forms. My challenge is that I would like to begin working by importing into my (Parent) table of 'Companies' and a (child) table of 'contacts', so that they are related by primary key and foreign key, Since I have hundreds of Companies, and thoudands of contacts, I would like to import via Excel sheets (tailored to tables) which I know how to do do. BUT, how can I do that with the relationship preset, since I don't know what the auto ID numbers will be for the Companies - and then put those in the Contact table as a foreign key?
