Number Format in Tables

Hi yall can somebody help me? What I need is to create a field in a table where will be populated with numbers. I want to see for example 1.10, 1.11, 2.10, 2.11 etc. I did it alredy by assigning in data type "Number" and in General field size selected "Double" in Format "General Number" and decimal places put 2. Everything looks good, however, the 2.10 the put automatically as 2.1 instead 2.10 and when I entered 2.11 everything is fine. Can somebody explain me what I have to do for maintain the complete number 2.10?

Use Format, one of these might help Format,Format Currency Without trying myself you're probably going to be looking for Format(FieldName,"Fixed") or Format(FieldName,"#.00")

Hi Leo, I am typing this on my phone so I don't have the system in front of me, but in the table definition underneath where you put in double, you will find a format, and there you need to put something along the following lines: 0.00 This tells Access you always want to see 2 decimal places, even if the value is zero.

I also do format short text but the problem is that sorted 2.1, 2.10, 2.11, 2.12 and then 2.2, 2.3 so don't respect the numeric order
