Wrong Data
Richard Van Wagoner

Maybe you can help me out with this. I have a very small database, it has one table, one query, and two forms. I am having trouble with one field on my form. If you look at my screenshots you will see that on the query everything works correctly. But when I open the form the Data =IIF([F5]>=[ED]-1,"",[F5]) brings back =IIF([F4]>=[ED]-1,"",[F4]). I have tried deleting it reentering the control source, and moving it to different locations on the form. But I can never get it to work. I also just used F5 as the control source and it brings up the date from the query from F5 correctly. As you can see I have used this formula repeatedly throughout my form and it works everywhere except this one spot.

Check the name of the control on the form.

Record source of the form is it from a query or a table?
If it is from a query check, the names of the columns and the query (alias)

The record source is a query. I have checked and all aliases are correct. I think the screenshots show this

I changed the name and still had the same problem. So just for fun, I changed F5 everywhere to F12 (query and Form) and now it works. I don't know why but it does. Thanks for your time.

Happy things worked out for you.
It was a naming issue all along.

Yes, I still can't Figure why F5 was a bad name

You'll probably had a space before it or something like that. If this happens to you again, delete the field from the form and select it from the available fields.
