Nope, if that's how you want to put your LEGOs together, go for it. I just find that most of the time I don't need Rich Text and formatting in my notes fields. It's just for notes, for information. But if you care about formatting, then yeah, great, go for it.

Really can't be any harm caused, but if you ever use that information somewhere that's not formatted for Rich Text, then it could be an issue. Like if you have to send it to someone else, maybe it's part of a CSV file. I don't know, sometimes people don't like getting those formatting codes. But if it's just in your database, I wouldn't worry about it. Just always make sure you format reports and forms that display that field as Rich Text.
