I was watching one of your Tech Help videos and you were sizing and moving some controls on a form and made the comment about Access being the red-headed stepchild and didn't have some of the features that Word and Excel have. I've wondered why you don't use the Arrange tab in Design view. I often use the Size to Tallest/Shortest/Widest/Narrowest etc. And then you can Align them. Align to the Top or Right or Left or Bottom. Increase or decrease the spacing. Or make all the selected controls equally spaced or increase or decrease spacing. I use that feature all the time when I'm "purtying" up the form or report.

I use it once in a while. For example here: Arrange Tabular. I guess it's just one of those things where when it first came out (2007?) it had a LOT of issues. It didn't work right. It would mangle VBA (how? exactly!) if you switched between layout view and form view. It just left a really bad taste in my mouth (along with tab controls and some other "features" that didn't work right at first.)

I should probably give layout view another look one of these days, as there are some helpful features in it, but I'm just old school. I prefer Design View.
