Cascade Combo Box

Hi Richard, I am at the beginner level. I am trying to set up a cascade combo box, but it does not work. The combo box does not refresh. I have followed the instructions (watching the video) and still I cannot get it to work.
I have three tables: 1) Companies (IUID as primary key), 2) Category Codes (CatID), and 3) Subcategories (SubCatID). Both CatID and SubCatID are in the first table as foreign keys.

Hi Miguel You will need a Me.cboCompanies.Requery (your combo box name) in an after update in your Companies combo box. Also on other combo boxes. Also, show us your queries HTH John

What is the row source for the combobox?

Cascading combo boxes is not a beginner concept. It does require some VBA programming. You have to get the events exactly as I show them in the video. Did you practice mine first to make sure you can get that working before trying your own? Cascading Combo Boxes

Yes, combo boxes are not beginner level, but I did watch the video and practice.
