Hi - I am designing a database for plants. I have a combo box where I am displaying the legal status of a plant. If the plant is an Invasive and Prohibited by the NY DEC, I want a different color for either the text (like red) or some kind of symbol that displays next to the combo box when the prohibited status is selected. Is this possible? Thank you!

Use Conditional Formatting. I didn't know plants could use databases. :P

IT WORKS!!!! It only took me to minute 2 of the video to figure out how to do it. Because i used a separate table with auto numbers for the InvasiveStatusID, I just had to put in that number for the value in EQUALS to and boom, the Combo box field on the form turned red for the prohibited plants. I then used conditional formatting to make the combo box field yellow for the regulated plants and green for the exempt cultivars. Awesome and thank you!
