Can this be done

Hello everyone, I have come across a problem with building the database. What has happened as I have discovered when I go into setting up a relationship which will delete customers will call it when the customer form as the secondary form in this database. The primary form is the one that I enter the details in to rectify this problem would I reverse which one has the secondary key as this would act as a primary table. I hope I am making sense Richard has explained this in expert level II about relationships where you cannot delete a parent and leave children behind

I think I better clarify what I'm saying in Richards examples. The primary table as customer where my primary table. I want to be the opposite way around primary table would be logbook T and when I enter are contact in that it would crate the secondary key in the table which is going to be adding all the information later on. The reason for this is that the database primary use is to enter information about amateur radio as you go. This worked perfectly until you force it not to be able to leave child records behind mild child records would be put in later. Hope this makes sense. I know I'm not very good at writing this down. Thank you Michelle
