Between Dates

I have a query that i am filtering on Between dates. I would like to show all records when i open the form then filter on date. I have tried "Or Is Null" at the ends and it fails. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Between "1/1/" & Year(Date()) And "12/31/" & Year(Date())

Please give more details. and some screen shots.

Are trying to get records that matches your criteria and also records that have null dates?

Yeah, I'm confused as to exactly where the problem is.

@Alan H. In the above example you can see in the form behind the MsgBox that all of the records are showing, even if a date is Null (that's because the initial query doesn't have a date criteria). The MsgBox shows how to limit by the year. There is no day and month needed if you want the full calendar year. Notice that I will get records with the date after midnight on 12/31.

On the second pass for a date criterion on your form, you will change the Me.RecordSource property. That's where my above SQL statement in the MsgBox goes.

If you're curious how I did this form, you can start with the
Microsoft Access Search Template. Sort. Filter.

Awww... sorry to hear about your fur baby. Take care of him/her. We have 2 pups and they're our babies.
