TechHelp Rollback
Ronald de Boer

Hi,
Watched Richard's Techhelp on rollback and I have also been having issues with one of my projects I have been developing.  I am using a perpetual 2019 MS Access license on a MS Server.
I asked our support people who diligently do MS software updates to rollback to May 14th like Richard has in his Rollback video.  Our support people are very reluctant to do so and are asking for MS acknowledgement of a MS Access bug.

I have Googled and can't see any such acknowledgement.  Is there a announcement and how do I find it?

Thanks
Ron dB

Ontop of Richard, NoLongerSet has covered this, and AccessForever. They have links to bug reports on multiple other forums including microsofts. If multiple Microsoft MVPs publicly talking about it on multiple platforms aren't enough for your people to look into it and see the issue/fix for themselves... then you may have bigger issues then a rollback.

I believe it's been fixed though in the newest version, so if they wont rollback maybe get them to update.

Hi Ronald
Take a look at Mike Wolfe's NoLongerSet newsletter.  https://nolongerset.com/slow-form-bug-fix/

There's an Access Blog but it's not updated that often.

You just tell them I said so. That should be good enough. Lol. 😁

Hi Richard,
I did! In also told them over a week ago that the fi had been rolled out and they told me that it had for MS 365 but not for MS Server 2019. Verification that I knew what I was talking about. Amazing that a MS Access developer actually talks to other Access developers and knows about bugs! LOL
