Multivalue field

I want to create a project table with both staff-ID and project information, and the staff information is in another table StaffT. There are multiple staffs working on one project. But my database is small, I don't want to use the junction table like in the many to many relationship course. How can I create the table then, can I create fields for different staff? like staff1, staff2' but how to relate the project table and StaffT in this case? Any help would be highly appreciated.

Why don't you want to use the junction table? It is your best option and it is not difficult. If you need help we are here.

Like John says, a M2M relationship is the best way to do it, but I have a personal rule where as long as there's no more than THREE of something then you can put it in the same table... phone numbers, addresses, sales reps, etc. So sure, as long as you're confident you'll NEVER go over 3, then you could do Staff1, Staff2, Staff3.

But you'll be sorry when that day comes where you need to add Staff4 and you didn't build it right the first time around. It will take a LOT more work to FIX your database later than to just set it up properly the first time. Unless you're getting paid by the hour... then knock yourself out. :)
