I have so much problem trying to kick out all users from my db. Instead of kick them all out.. I actually only kicked myself out . How ironic! What did i do wrong? You said run on Each's user form database. How do i run this?
Here what i did......
On Switchboard form:
Public Backout as boolean
-Cmdbutton click event:
DoCmd.SetWarnings False
DoCmd.RunSQL "UPDATE KickEmOff SET GetOut = -1;"
BackOut = True
End If


-Time Interval property set to 50000
-On Form_Timer event
If DLookup("GetOut", "KickEmOff", "GetOut <> 0") And (BackOut = True) Then
Application.Quit
End If
Also have a table called "KickEmOut", one field name "Getout" set to False.
Every time I click on the Cmdbutton on my Switchboard form,
It will update field "GetOut" from table "KickEmout" to a value of -1(true). Then set the backout boolean to True.
Every 50000, the form_timer event triggers.. it will application.quit.

I'm not sure what your BackOut variable is for, but you've got the basic idea. Their event timer checks your variable and if it's TRUE, it closes the database. Just be careful that they aren't editing a record. I used to give my users a warning message that would pop up first and say "the database will close in 60 seconds."
