you can use one of two methods I can think of:

1) Use Temporary tables. It is perhaps more advanced based on the number of courses you have taken.

2) The first form (Single form) picks the criteria you want to filter by. Then call a query that will return your filtered records. now open a continues form bound to the query.

Can't you just copy the filter? On your button that opens the other form
