Sex is either male or female, their blood pressure values range from 70 to 180 mmHg, both systolic and diastolic ones and blood sugar values range from 90 to 190 mg/dl. How do i categorize hypertensive (>120) and or diabetic (>126) and find how many males and females fall in each category? Kindly explain me how I do it.

I think not sure you are asking for a criteria and a count. this can be done in a query.

you have few issues to sort out first: Some patients don't have BP. your BP is stored as 999/999. you need to parse the field to get the numeric value you want to test. Then you can use an aggregate query to count the record that matches your criteria Aggregate Query Calculations on Aggregate Results
