Interval Training

Hello Rick, girls and guys,

With a lot of help from some of you and some internet research I was able to build a Timer Program in Access XP. it even works in Access 2010.

But guess what, after the endurance part I tryed tot program an Intervaltraining form.

what I want to accomplisch is some loops like 5 x training and 4 times recovertraining. So as always in training start up with a WarmUp then Interval 1 followed by Recover 1 then back to interval and so on. Don't no about a cooldown at the end, it might not be needed.

As far as I am now I don't see a loop will make this happen. It will either make a loop in the Interval say 5 times and then switch to Recover to do this 5 times.

A For Next with both Interval and Recover within the loop failed. It just will timedown both interval and recover at the same time.

Has anyone a suggestion?

Thankx,
eddy

Reply from Richard Rost:

I would make a workout table with records like this:

1, warmup, 60
2, interval 1, 120
3, recover 1, 120
4, interval 2, 300
5, interval 2, 120
6, cooldown 60

Have your form loop through each record, read in the SECONDS (that last number) from the table, and timer accordingly.
