Forms Count and Cond Format

I am very familiar with the above on Reports , but neither work on Forms... 1)  I have been very careful with the count function , but always error   2) Condit formatting : I set up same as reports just doesn't work .. On Reports : No prob

I'm going to assume you're making the most common mistake - using a PAGE footer in a report instead of a FORM footer. Never use a PAGE header/footer in a FORM.

Thanks for your help Richard and Team .  My initial post can be narrowed down to form Conditional Formatting point only. *   conditional formatting DOES change font colour BUT DOES NOT change background colour on Form . Back colour does work on Report Conditional formatting.   I do have another issue, maybe should open a new post .. * Often after making form design mods , i save the form then hit View and the DB shuts down..  Have you experienced this before . I compile DB and all OK, no prob detected there

Make sure you don't have the background set to TRANSPARENT. Then the background color setting does nothing.

DB shutting down randomly tell me it's a weird problem... and for weird problems, the best thing to do is run down the Troubleshooter.
