Modify the template front end

there is a problem when unload form customer w contacts, because it searchs for customerid but the form doesnt have it since it's already closed, i tried to modify i only was able to modify the connectstring, when the main menu loads and want to modify it to remove the unload problem but i am not allowed to modify it, why is that? once it connects with the BE now seems to be locked

What do you mean "not allowed to modify it"? What happens?

One solution I found was to have a form level Boolean variable (rsState). When the form opens I set rsState to false, once the form is fully loaded change rsState to True.Then once the form starts to close I set the rsState to False, and before the check on customerid executes the code to check the rsState happens and exits the sub. Hope this is helpful.

Hi, i coudnt modify the front end file, but i just commented the LocalDB=Currentdb() and worked, but now I have another problem, i cant use queries in files on my own, only work with tables, did i miss something about how to create queries in the back end? Regards
