Ctrl Break Key
Richard Roesel

I have a Microsoft surface laptop 4 and it does not have break or pause keys.  It does not have a screen keyboard either.

Any suggestions on how to break the application while the code is running without these keys or any way to replicate ctrl + Break Keys to stop the code.

Thanks

Can you plug in an external keyboard?

I have the Surface Laptop 5

Break I think is Cntr FN B

Quick Search on Google and I found this.

Many notebook and compact keyboards don't have a dedicated Pause/Break key. However, you can use other keys to perform similar functions:
Ctrl + Fn + F11
Fn + B
Fn + Ctrl + B
Ctrl + Fn + S
Fn + Esc
Ctrl + Fn + ⇧ Shift
Fn + R

On Screen Keyboard - Maybe:

There are couple ways to get to the OSK (On-screen keyboard).

1 way:

** Right click on the Windows logo (Start)

** Click on control Panel

** Once control Panel opens, in the search bar on the right, type in: "Ease of access".

** Click on: "Ease of Access Center"

** Click on: "Start on-screen keyboard".

Maybe get a wireless blue tooth keyboard (full) and go with that instead.

You could try an external programmable mini keyboard like this:  www.amzn.com\B0CP4L1XSD
