Close Form and Delete Record

I have a "Close" button and a "Close and Save" button on my client input form. I want to use the close button to delete a partial record and close the form. I have tried different ways to does this but none have worked. Here is my latest attempt.
If Me.Dirty Then
        DoCmd.SetWarnings False
        Me.Recordset.Delete
        DoCmd.SetWarnings True
        Me.Dirty = False

I have also tried "DoCmd.RunCommand acCmdDeleteRecord" but neither has worked.

Use an SQL statement. `CurrentDb.Execute "DELETE FROM TableName WHERE WhereCondition"` Notes: Backup your database BEFORE deleting records. Don't forget the where condition otherwise you will delete every record from the table. Deleting records (and other Action Queries) are covered in Access SQL Seminar Part 2.

Me.Undo is what you need. It makes the form lose all changes to the current record.
