Multi Field Search Form
Aaron

Hello I am currently creating a searchable form within Access 2010. I followed your Build a Multi-Field Search Form Tutorial and that helped a lot and honestly got me where I am today. This is a project for school. I have a form that needs to be able to search an Agency, Location, Zip and about 15 other fields that are yes/no. Following your Multi-Field Search tutorial and using the LIKE command I am able to search Agency, Location, Zip just fine, but the 15 other fields will need to narrow down the search even more. For example I have a yes/no field that is called Shelters and another yes/no field called Disability. I need to be able to type in a Location and either check or type in yes in that form to bring up all locations with the required yes or check box. I hope this makes sense also I am a intermediate user.

Reply from Richard Rost:

You should be able to just use a query criteria checking for yes or no (true or false) based on the value of your form fields. This tutorial on form field notation might help you as well.
