I have a process problem that I was wondering if there was a simple solution to.

First, I want to structure a User and supervisor front end database to the same back end. Obviously use the same set of tables (the security seminar was great and prompted all this.)

So basically, what I would like to do to keep tables clean and small is.... when the employee files a payroll change it is saved to a table (lets call it payroll_changes_not_approved). These records will then be available for the supervisor to approve or not approve. Either way, I want these records deleted from this table and stored in an approved/not_approved tables selectively. This part is easy enough.

2 problems.
1. Supervisor end can be on 1 of multiple machines.
2. My ISP does not have static IP addressing as an option. (I cannot quite figure that one out.)

I was thinking about home server as an option because I can do that from home (believe it or not, mediacom actually outdid someone...) but that really seems cumbersome to me, and I am not wild about using my home computer for this.

So my idea is when the employee files the change, an email data packet is sent to the supervisor and then can be imported from outlook. Any suggestions?
