I have a database where I run VBA code each morning that deletes about 10 tables and then re-imports fresh copies from a server with an OBDC driver and saved import specifications. When I close in the evening I copy the database to a different drive/folder. This morning my imports wouldn't run. I noticed that the file size is 1,904,556 KB. I've had issues before when the file size approaches 2GB it starts acting funny. But I can't compact it because it says it's open on by someone else. And I get the same message when I open a previous backup copy. And when the db closes it's not deleting the .laccdb lock file. I'm baffled.  I did create a new db and copied ALL the objects to it. But the saved import specifications are missing.
