Hi everyone,

the DB I have made has a entry Form with several comboboxes and a subform.
The cbo's all have a "on not in list" event. All these fields have a different table with information and I save only the ID's of those items in a main table.

Now the question:
there are two ways to enter data wrongly. 1; selecting the wrong data, which I can change easily by reselecting when I notice the error.
2; Making a type-mismatch when entering for example a new city or country.

What would be the solution to correct the type-mismatch.
Entering the coreect speld country would create a new record and leafs the type-mismatched in the table for future mistakes.

I tryed to use the same form without the "on not in list" events and played around with the formopen possibilities but failed.

Is there a way I missed out on, using a form?
I realy don't want to make the changes in the tables due to the relational settings used.
