If I understand the question right, you simply need to "save as" in word from the file menu and name it what you like.

Before the clean up code add the following line (Enter your own path and filename):

    Doc.SaveAs2 FileName:="C:\YourFolder\YourDocumentName.docx", FileFormat:=16 ' 16 = Word format

If you are a member Kim check out the extended cut that he has for this.  The best secret is using onilne tools to get the final part done.  If you're not a member, become one  It's not expensive but you do get much from it.  (End sales pitch from a techhelp member)

To use Access to control what Word does, you need to use a technique called "automation," which Richard has covered in his lessons.  Search "automation" and you should find them.  I don't have access to any of his paid courses so I can't point you directly to them.

Pretty sure I covered that in the extended cut for Export to Word.

Hi all thank you VERY much for your replies. I am a new Silver member and still finding my way.  The extended cut video was very helpful; save me heaps of time figuring out how to print and retain format and pictures from Access report to WORD.

Thanks Kevin for the code. It worked!!!
