List box showing numerical values instead of Text

Is there a way I can send you my database to show you?  The list box has 3 columns, the computerID is set to 0" width already.  The numerical values are from fields that should have text type data.  I know I've known how to do this in the past, I just don't remember.  If you could help me, I would be VERY appreciative.  I was thinking about getting some of your more advance access tutorials after I finish this lesson so I can tweak my database even further (hopefully).

Reply from Richard Rost:

If you've got numerical values showing up, those are probably other IDs. What are they? If they are IDs, you need to create a query, JOIN the ID fields properly to the other tables, and bring in the TEXT values from those other tables. Now base your listbox off of this new table. This is basic relationship stuff that I cover in my Access 201 class (soon to be Access 2010 Expert Level 1). I also cover this in depth in my Access Relationship Seminar.

I wish I had time to look at everyone's databases and help them... but I'm terribly behind schedule with my tutorials as it is now. I do my best to try and spend an hour or so every day to answer questions in here as often as I can, but looking at individual databases takes a lot of time that I just don't have.

If you're really stuck, you can submit your database as a paid question via my TechHelp page, but as a general rule, I just don't have time to look at files (databases, spreadsheets, etc.) for free. Sorry. :(
