It's driving me crazy.

Had to reinstall everything a couple weeks ago and now whenever i type " Access automatically adds in another ". When i type ( Access automatically adds in a ).

Please how can i make it stop!!!

Is this happening in the VBA window? If so, yes it is a pain and it does not look like there is way to change or turn this off....

When I am in the VB Editor and type for Example FirstName = " And then hit enter I automatically get the second double quotes. I also will get the second DQs if I were to type FirstName ="Jerry then hit enter the DQ will appear. Would this be what is happening to you?
