I found out the hard way that if using a split database, you really need to do the copy/paste tables from the backend. I wasn't thinking and did it from the front end. It didn't ask if I just wanted to c/p the structure only, so it did the data, too. No problem, thought I, as I deleted all the records from the copy. That deleted everything from the original table, as well. Seven years of records flushed. Fortunately, I had a backup for most of it.
